The Change Cycle Series Intellectual Property Overview
The Change Cycle™ Series provides a comprehensive set of training tools and resources designed to help adults build essential skills for adaptability and resilience. The program empowers participants to understand how change impacts their thinking, emotions, and behaviors—and to develop the practical strategies needed to navigate both professional and personal transitions effectively.
Grounded in established psychological theory, The Change Cycle™ model offers a multidimensional framework that maps the natural human response to change. It illustrates how individuals progress through the stages of cognitive (thought), emotional (feeling), and behavioral adjustment, enabling them to move from resistance and uncertainty toward confidence, mastery, and success in the face of change.
The Change Cycle™ model uses the colors red, yellow, and green to symbolize the stages of change, mirroring the familiar actions we take at traffic lights—stop, proceed with caution, and go.
The model is both descriptive and prescriptive: it not only outlines the natural, progressive stages individuals experience during successful adjustment but also provides practical, actionable strategies to help people move through each stage more efficiently and effectively.
